REMY hair is real human hair, and the highest quality hair available today. REMY hair extensions get their high quality status from the way they are handled when being created. By keeping the cuticles in-tact, they are preserved and kept in one direction, giving them a natural look and feel. Due to this, REMY hair always provides you with a soft and silky feel, remaining tangle-free throughout it’s life.

Our REMY hair extensions can last you anywhere from 3 months to 1 year, all depending on how often you use them and how well you look after them. Wearing them daily, using heat (ironing) and frequent washing all shorten the life span of your extensions. To get the most out of your hair extensions, we recommend using sulfate-free shampoo, only washing your hair every 10-15 wears, and always using salon-grade heat protectants when straighten/styling.

Luckily, our clip in hair extensions are EXTREMELY easy-to-use, and you will become a pro in no time!

When applying hair extensions, always start from the bottom half of your head and work up. In the extension set, there 7 pieces. 1x 4-weft, 2x 3-weft, 2x 2-weft, 2x 1-weft.

Start with 1x 3-weft. Start by parting the hair in line with the bottom of the ear. Clip the rest of the hair out the way. To ensure the clips stay in securely, back comb the hair at the part line. Start with the middle clip. Wiggle the clip into the hair, getting as close to the root as possible, and push to clip. Do the same for the clips on the left and right. Comb the hair downwards to blend it.

Next, grab the 4-weft and divide the next part of your hair in line with the top of your ear. Repeat the process above, starting with the middle clips and then doing the left and right. Comb the hair downwards to blend it.

Next, grab the last 3-weft, and part the hair just above the 4-weft. Part the hair eye-brow width and repeat the process above. Middle clip first, left and right and comb full head to blend.

Onto the sides. Choose one side first. Get a 2-weft and part the hair at eye brow level, clip the rest of the hair out the way, back comb the hair and wiggle clips as close to the root as possible and push to clip. Let the hair drop and comb. For the 1-weft, divide the hair just above the 2-weft, back comb the hair and clip in the hair extension.

Repeat for the other side.

Comb hair to blend, and just like that, you’re done.

Note: This is a general guideline for applying a 7 piece set of hair extensions. Most of the time, this will work for everyone, however, you may find that different placements work better for your hair.

Our clip-in extensions have silicon covered clips that are designed to protect your own hair. Your natural hair will be protected and harm-free when using our hair extensions.

We know choosing the correct color can be nerve-wrecking, but we’re here to help.

Send a picture of your hair to info@herhair.co.za and we will make a recommendation, based on how your hair looks.

Make sure you take a picture of the back of your head, and the tips, preferably in natural light.

If the color is wrong, you may return the hair, although only if the return policy is met.

Never worry when shopping with us, you can return your hair extensions if they are not right for you, however, please make sure you have met the return policy.

The hair extensions must not have been worn, opened or tampered with. The gold ties (our security seal) need to be in tact for us to accepted the return.

If you are worried about the color, hold the set next to your head. If they match and blend well, it’s the perfect set for you.
